Class Lessons

Class Lesson Programmes

This course is designed to improve communication skills through a series of role-play exercises while attaining the grammar foundation needed for speaking.

  • All classes are taught by native Japanese teachers
  • Class size is limited to 7-19 people per class and meets once or twice a week
  • The class meets a total of 2.5 hours per week and will take about 3 months to complete one grade
  • A final test will be administered at the end of the course. Students who pass the final test will be eligible to move to the next grade.

This course is designed for those who wish to concentrate on studying the language in a short period of time, and is also a suitable course for those who wish to study Japanese before they study abroad in Japan.

  • All classes are taught by native Japanese teachers
  • Class size is limited to 7-19 people per class
  • The class meets 3 times a week (Mon, Wed, Fri) from 9:30am to 1:30pm
  • The class meets for a total of 12 hours per week and will take about 3 months to complete one stage
  • A final test will be administered at the end of the course. Students who pass the final test will be eligible to move to the next grade.

This course is designed for people who have completed the General Japanese Course Grade 8 or passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test N4.

  • All classes are taught by native Japanese teachers
  • Class size is limited to 7-19 people per class and meets once or twice a week
  • The class meets a total of 2.5 hours per week and will take about 3 months to complete one grade
  • A final test will be administered at the end of the course. Students who pass the final test will be eligible to move to the next grade.

This course is an intensive version of the Advancing Japanese Courses with additional time for role-plays, class discussions and activities to help learners gain fluency and understand more about Japanese culture.

  • All classes are taught by native Japanese teachers
  • Class size is limited to 7-19 people per class
  • The class meets 4 times a week (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri) from 10:00am to 1:15pm
  • The class meets for a total of 12 hours per week and will take about 3 months to complete one stage
  • A final test will be administered at the end of the course. Students who pass the final test will be eligible to move to the next grade.

This course is designed for people who have completed the Advancing Japanese Course Grade 8 or passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test N2. The students will learn more practical Japanese expressions and increase their communication abilities through participating in interesting, interactive classroom activities. Upon completion of this course they will be able to :

  • give opinions on current events
  • express personal feelings on daily life
  • write emails and SMS
  • understand TV dramas, newspapers, magazines and novels
  • be updated on the latest Japanese news and trends

This course is an intensive version of the Mastering Japanese Communication Courses with additional time for role-plays, class discussions and activities to help learners gain fluency and understand more about Japanese culture. This is a course for students who want to learn Japanese quickly and it also prepares students for studying in Japan.

  • All classes are taught by native Japanese teachers
  • Class size is limited to 7-19 people per class
  • The class meets 4 times a week (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri) from 10:00am to 1:15pm
  • The class meets for a total of 15 hours per week and will take about 3 months to complete one stage
  • A final test will be administered at the end of the course. Students who pass the final test will be eligible to move to the next grade.

This course is designed for those who have completed the Mastering Japanese Communication Course Grade 8 or the Intensive Mastering Japanese Communication Course Stage 2. Topics include:

  • Describing complicated situations
  • Giving a speech in an organized way
  • Giving opinions concisely
  • Talking to different people in different situations

This course is designed for those who are working in a Japanese company or those who have to maintain a business relationship with Japanese companies. Through a series of exercises focusing on the daily conversation, telephoning skills, meeting, presentation, as well as customer service skills needed for work, students will be able to attain both communication skills and business etiquette for a variety of business situations.

  • The beginner course is for those who have passed the JLPT N2; the advanced course is for those who have passed the JLPT N1
  • All business Japanese classes are taught by native Japanese teachers with business experience

This is a course designed for Elementary School students ranged from Primary 4 to Primary 6. Students will effectively study the grammar and basics of Japanese communication through singing, games, arts and crafts, as well as conversation practice.

  • All classes are taught by native Japanese teachers
  • Class size is limited to 6 to 12 students to maintain a small group environment
  • The class meets once a week, one hour per lesson, and will finish in about 3 months

This course is designed for students who wish to practise and strengthen their Japanese speaking skills. Students can enjoy talking with a Japanese instructor as well as their classmates, all in Japanese.

Experienced teachers will be giving strategies and tips for the N1, N2, and N3 levels for the JLPT.

This course is specially designed for beginners who wish to study both Japanese language and culture simultaneously.

  • Beyond learning basic grammar, this course uniquely incorporates insights into Japanese customs and culture.
  • Students will not only develop skills in listening, speaking, writing and reading but also gain an understanding of traditional and contemporary culture in Japan.
